Fare Share thrives on community cooperation among members, customers, the people of Norway, farmers, artists, local businesses, other non-profits, and the global co-operative movement. Since 1978, this natural foods cooperative has worked hard to achieve Our Purposes:
To create a high-quality, low-priced, not-for-profit food supply, democratically controlled by the membership.
To educate members of the community on matters of nutrition, agriculture and alternate technology.
To develop an information-sharing and communication center.
To help develop other non-profit goods and services.
To help further principles of cooperation, democracy, and self-reliance for the general betterment of members and the community.
To provide a welcoming & inspiring space to build a healthy and sustainable community.
