In our effort to help further the principles of cooperation, democracy and self-reliance, Fare Share Co-op is a member of local and national organizations that are working together to improve and support community, local businesses, and co-ops nationally. Fare Share Co-op is a member of:

Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce to help people explore the magnificent beauty of the Oxford Hills, eight towns nestled in the Western Foothills of Maine, a region of unlimited natural resources, which include pristine lakes, ponds, rivers, and mountains.

National Cooperative Business Association and its Cooperative Web Site is presented by the NCBA with information about cooperatives to help people understand how they can use the cooperative model to improve their lives and their communities.

The Cooperative Grocers Information Network (CGIN, pronounced cee-gin) is a collaborative initiative formed by the U.S. retail food co-ops to help them share information and resources.

CGIN's Listserve is great reseource for co-ops. Anyone, including co-op members, board directors, and staff members can be a part of. To join the list please use these CGIN Listserve Directions to subscribe or unsubscribe.
