Membership is Ownership

Owners provide the co-op with equity, labor, vision, and governance.

Members are Owners.  When you join, you own it!

Ownership is open to everyone and it's easy to sign up. Whether you're a year-round or seasonal shopper, some one in comfortable circustances or someone struggling to make ends meet, you are welcome at Fare Share.

Dues & Owner Shares:  Owners pay annual dues of $12 to cover costs such as meetings, mailing and printing.  In addition, each of us pays a one-time Owner Share.  This is your investment in your co-op.  We want everyone who wants to join, to be able to join, so the cost of an Owner Share of Fare Share is set on a sliding scale of $30 to $200, based on your income and circumstances.  You also decide on the payment plan for your Owner Share.
