PRIVACY POLICY

Fare Share Co-op will keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our web site, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number, and a password. We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated on your orders, and to provide a more customized service to you.

 

RETURN POLICY

Non-perishable, unopened products may be returned for store credit within 10 days of purchase. Perishable or opened products may be returned for store credit within 10 days of purchase if the product was found to be damaged or of poor quality upon receipt by customer.

 

GRIEVANCE POLICY

Fare Share strives to listen to and resolve issues and concerns raised by staff members, Board members or Co-op member/owners. To this end, every effort will be made to resolve issues by direct communication between the people directly involved. If direct communication is unsuccessful, the Grievance Process described below shall guide the resolution of the issue in a responsible, professional, and timely fashion.

 

DIRECT COMMUNICATION

1) The person who has an issue or concern must first attempt to resolve the problem directly with the person with whom the conflict exists.

2) If the situation cannot be remedied through direct communication, the person shall seek the General Manager’s assistance to resolve the issue.

3) If the person is not satisfied with the response, he or she may complete a Grievance Filing Form and submit it to the Fare Share Board President. (Please see GM for a form)

Terms and Conditions have been developed for your protection and the protection of Fare Share Co-op. Your use of the site constitutes your agreement to the following terms and conditions. The following terms of use apply to all site users. All terms and conditions of use are subject to change at the discretion of Fare Share Co-op.

ONLINE SHOPPING
Customers shall hold Fare Share Co-op harmless from any and all liability including, but not limited to, any health claims regarding products posted on the web site.

 

Customers agree to pay for goods and services purchased via the internet with Fare Share Co-op and recognize that purchasing goods and services on line holds the same validity as if purchased in person from the bricks and mortar store.

While Fare Share Co-op provides security encryption devices, customer's email may not be fully secured against interception. Customer agrees to hold Fare Share Co-op harmless from any and all liability for any reason whatsoever, including monetary and health issues, which may arise regarding any transaction that occurs between Fare Share Co-op and customer.

 

Fare Share Co-op collects financial information (such as your account or credit card numbers where applicable) so you can order products from our store via our SHOP ONLINE service. Your billing information is only used to bill you for products and services we sell. It is privileged, confidential, encrypted, and held on a secure server, and will not be given to a third party except as required by law.

 

SECURITY
Fare Share Co-op works to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. Fare Share Co-op employees who handle customer data do not have access to your credit card details as this information is immediately encrypted after you execute the continue link at the bottom of the payment details section. In order to shop online, Fare Share Co-op collects your name, address information, and credit card information, so that it can fulfill your order, as well as your contact information (email and telephone) in case Fare Share Co-op needs to communicate with you regarding your order.

 

All major credit card companies protect cardholders against fraud. We reveal only the first four and last four digits of your credit card number when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire encrypted credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. To complete credit card transactions, Fare Share Co-op provides the following member information (name, billing address, credit card number, expiration date, and transaction amount) to the credit card processing company we use via secure communications pathways.
